Leave your car at home or at the hotel
The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is serviced by the Montreal subway system (STM) with the Jean-Drapeau metro station situated at the track. We suggest that you buy public transit tickets which are available at all subway stations. Leave your car at home or at the hotel since there is no parking available at the track and very limited parking near the site. Plan a 40-minute subway ride if you are departing from the North End of Montreal, a 25-minute ride from any downtown station and 15 minutes from the South Shore (Longueuil Station).
By buying your transport tickets in advance for your return trip at the end of the event, you will avoid queues at fare vending machines and metro fare collectors. You can even get your three day fare card when you purchase your tickets to the Grand Prix. To buy your tickets including your fare card, click here. If you wish to add a fare card to an order that has already been made, call 514 350-0000 or click here.
Please note that during the race weekend, public parking is not available on site.
