The Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada is pleased to announce it’s highly anticipated "Open House Day”, which will take place on Thursday, June 6, at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Starting at 9 a.m., racing fans will be welcomed on site free of charge via the Cosmos Bridge, close to the Parc Jean-Drapeau metro station. Using a shuttle bus, visitors with their camera in hand will be able to explore the pit lane until noon while witnessing Formula 1 staff at work.

In support to Moisson Montréal, the largest food bank in the country, the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada would like to invite its thousands of spectators to make a donation and drop off non-perishable goods during the event presented on June 7, 8 and 9 at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. It is with great enthusiasm that the two organizations have joined forces to contribute to the mission of Moisson Montréal to provide, throughout the year, a vital food aid to less fortunate households of the island of Montreal.

In a few days, the World championship will present the first of six races that will precede the Montreal event on June 7th, 8th and 9th during our own Grand Prix du Canada. The pre-season trials are over, the planes are loaded and the suitcases are packed... 11 teams and 22 drivers are heading off to Melbourne, Australia.

Montréal, February 19th 2013 – The Formula One Grand Prix du Canada is pleased to announce that the popular Quebec Comedian and announcer José Gaudet has been named as Grand Prix du Canada ambassador.
Co-star of the show “Les Grandes Gueules” which broadcasts on NRJ Radio Network and host of “Les legends de la route”, José Gaudet is a genuine Formula 1 fan and an avid spectator of the Canadian round of the World Championship. Before accepting his role as ambassador, he already confirmed that he would be part of the crowd at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on June 7, 8 and 9 2013.
